Kenyan Collaborators

During the course, Michigan State University students collaborated with 'Technologists in Residence' and Kenyan designers to better understand the context in which they were designing technologies and to develop their design concepts.

Technologists in Residence (TIRS)

The Technologists-in-Residence Program (TIR) consists of students from Kenya’s Egerton University. During the course, they served as mentors, evaluated MSU students’ projects, and contributed a cross-cultural perspective. They participated in the course virtually for most of the semester and visited campus in April 2024 to attend the project showcase.
