Allowing Kenyan communities to receive medical consultations and checkups remotely, reducing the need for physical personnel.

About

This project presents a medical software platform allowing Kenyan communities that face a shortage of medical professionals to connect with doctors remotely based on their symptoms, reducing and and in some cases eliminating the need for a medical professional to be present physically. Crucially, the project aims to supplement local healthcare resources instead of replacing them, by allowing medial personnel on the platform to refer patients to local hospitals if needed, provide prescriptions accepted at local pharmacies, and schedule follow-up appointments.
